SAT or ACT?

When should my student take the ACT?
Many students take it for the first time in junior year. We look at your student’s school calendar, activities, and application deadlines, then choose a test date that leaves room for a retake.
Should my student take the Science section?
Science no longer counts toward the composite, but some colleges and STEM programs may still want to see it. Check the requirements of the schools on your student’s list before registering.
How many hours of tutoring will my student need?
It depends on your student’s starting point, target score, and test date. The diagnostic shows which skills and question patterns need work, and we recommend a plan from there.
Should my student take the ACT or the SAT?
Neither test is easier overall. The better choice depends on how your student handles each format and pace. Comparing diagnostic results for both is the clearest way to decide.
