TheHSPT,mapped.
The HSPT places students into Catholic high schools, and often into their scholarship pools and honors tracks. It moves fast: roughly three hundred questions in about two and a half hours, most of them formats eighth graders have never practiced. We mapped what recurs so a few weeks of prep land where they count.

- Format
- Five sections: verbal, quantitative, reading, mathematics, and language. About two and a half hours.
- Scoring
- A composite percentile against national eighth-grade norms, reported to the receiving school.

- Given by the receiving school, usually between November and January of eighth grade.
